THE GIFT OF CAMP
By helping us give the gift of camp, you will help the ministry of Camp Allendale. By giving the funds for a child to attend camp, you will provide an experience that literally may impact his or her life into adulthood and beyond. Some of our greatest “success stories” are of children who made a decision for Christ after receiving tuition assistance. If these scholarships are funded by individuals such as you, funds planned for facility improvements, program expenses, and other camp needs can be used for their intended purpose. Each summer Camp Allendale gives tuition waivers to 30 – 40 young people. Some of those are full scholarships of $440.00. Others are partial amounts based on specific needs.

The camp has offered financial assistance for many years, not desiring anyone to be denied a life-changing opportunity to attend camp based on finances.
Occasionally, we have had friends of the camp provide funds for this purpose. Every year we provide more assistance than funds received. Typically, we have just “written off” the unfunded portion. When we do this we take money from other areas of the camp budget to underwrite these scholarships.
