Camp Allendale is
located 2 miles east of Trafalgar (State Road 135) on State Road
252.
From Indianapolis: Take I-465 to US 31 South. Turn right
(west) at the first stoplight (Thompson Rd). Go to the first
stoplight (State Road 135) and turn left (south). Go about 25
miles to the signal light in Trafalgar. Turn left
(east) onto State Road 252...we are 2 miles down the road on the
right side (south).
From South: Take I-65 north to the Taylorsville/US 31
North exit. Go north approximately 6 miles to State Road 252
WEST. THIS IS NOT AT THE STOPLIGHT WHERE STATE ROAD 252 EAST
IS...it is north of there. Turn left (west) onto 252 and go
about seven miles...we are on the left side of the road (south).
From Bloomington: Take 37 N to State Road 252 in
Martinsville. Head east on SR 252, going straight at the 4 way
stop in Morgantown. At the next 4 way stop (about 6 miles) in
Trafalgar, turn right. Head east on SR 252....two miles down the
road on the right (south).
Special
directions from Shelbyville until approximately September 30,
2009 (due to bridge replacement):
Take State Road 44 towards Franklin.
Turn left onto Sugar Creek Road right before the Sugar Creek
bridge which is closed for repairs. Head south on Sugar
Creek Road, following the signs for Sugar Creek Road for
approximately 3 miles where you will T into 500 S. Turn
right and then the road 500 S will turn south and after that 90
degree curve, turn right onto the first road, Greensburg Road.
Take Greensburg Road until the second road on the left and turn
left onto County Road 250 S. Continue heading east on 250
S past I-65 and US 31 until the road T's at Mauxferry Road.
Turn left (south) onto Mauxferry Road to State Road 252.
Turn right and head west approximately 4.5 miles to the camp on
the left (south) side of the road.

From Shelbyville: Take State Road 44 west to Franklin.
Follow SR 44 throughout downtown Franklin. You will come to a
stoplight that is U.S. 31. There is a CVS, Shell Station, and
Walgreen's at this intersection. Turn left and head south to the
second stoplight. Turn right onto 200 E and go
approximately 2.5 miles to State Road 252 (second stop sign).
Turn right onto State Road 252 and go west approximately 3.25
miles and you will the camp on the south (left) side of the
